1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how the ProClean Solutions website uses cookies and similar browser storage. It matches the scripts on the pages. It does not describe an analytics or advertising program that has not been installed.

The policy sits alongside the Privacy Policy and the Terms & Conditions. Those documents explain the inquiry form and the purpose of the site. This one explains storage in the browser and the technical files the pages request.

2. What Cookies Are

A cookie is a small piece of data a site can ask the browser to store and send back later, according to the browser rules. Local storage is a separate store that scripts on the same site can read in that browser. It is not sent automatically with every request in the way a cookie is, but it is still data kept on the device.

Session storage, if used, lasts for a tab. This website does not use session storage for inquiries. It uses local storage for the inquiry summary only.

3. How Cookies Are Used

The site scripts do not create a login session. They do not set a first-party analytics cookie, and they do not set an advertising cookie. The mobile menu, accordions, carousels, service filters and form checks run from files loaded with the page. They do not need a tracking cookie to operate.

There is no customer account, so there is no session cookie that keeps you signed in. There is no shopping cart cookie, because there is no cart. There is no cookie that records which service you clicked in order to build an advertising audience.

4. Essential Cookies

The pages do not set an essential first-party cookie of their own. Interface behaviour is handled by scripts without writing a cookie for the menu or the carousel.

If your browser or a security tool stores a cookie while you use the site, that storage is from the tool or from a host that delivered a file, not from a cookie banner on this website. This policy does not list cookie names it has not set.

5. Functional Cookies

The inquiry summary is stored with local storage, not with a cookie, under the key pcs-inquiries. That store lets the page show you the summary after you submit a valid form and keeps the summary in that browser until you clear site data.

The services page does not store your search text or your filter choice. When you reload the page, the filter returns to its default. That is a consequence of not storing the filter.

6. Analytics Cookies

The pages do not include Google Analytics, another analytics suite, a tag manager, or a session-recording tool. No analytics cookie is set by ProClean Solutions scripts.

This policy would need to be updated before any analytics tag is added. Until that happens, do not expect a measurement cookie from this site, and do not expect a control that claims to switch such a cookie off.

7. Advertising Cookies

The pages do not include an advertising pixel, a remarketing tag, or a social plugin that tracks clicks. No advertising cookie is set by the site scripts.

If you arrive from an advertisement, the advertising service may measure the click on its own systems before you reach this website. That measurement is not a cookie placed by ProClean Solutions. The site does not read an advertising identifier in its own script.

8. Third-Party Cookies

To display type, icons and common interface behaviour, pages request files from hosts that ProClean Solutions does not operate:

  • Google Fonts and the Google font file host, for the Open Sans and Rubik typefaces;
  • cdnjs, for the Font Awesome stylesheet;
  • jsDelivr, for Bootstrap Icons and the Bootstrap script;
  • the jQuery CDN, for the jQuery script.

Those hosts receive the technical request for the file, which can include an IP address and the address of the page. They may use cookies or similar storage under their own policies. This website does not copy those policies and does not pretend to list every cookie they might set.

9. Cookie Consent

This website does not show an accept or reject banner. A banner would be misleading here, because the site does not run optional analytics or advertising cookies that a button on the page could switch off.

Showing a reject button that does not change any tag would not give you a real choice. Consent language will be added only if a genuine optional technology is added and the banner actually controls it.

10. Managing Preferences

You can choose not to submit the inquiry form. If you have already submitted it, you can remove the summary by clearing site data for this website. That deletion is local. It does not delete an email from a mailbox. An email is created only if you send the message that your mail application opened.

There is no in-page preference centre, because there is no optional tracker to toggle. The meaningful controls are your browser settings and your choice to use or not use the form.

11. Browser Settings

Browsers let you view and delete cookies and site data. The control labels differ, but they are usually found in privacy or site-settings menus. Deleting cookies but leaving site data in place can leave the inquiry summary behind, because the summary is in local storage. Deleting site data removes it.

If you block all cookies, the written pages can still be read, because the site scripts do not depend on a first-party cookie. Blocking third-party cookies or third-party scripts may affect fonts, icons, the mobile menu, or the form script. If the form script does not run, it cannot open your mail application. You can still write directly to [email protected] or call +27 72 989 1131.

12. Cookie Retention

The inquiry summary has no expiry date inside the script. It remains until you remove it or the browser removes site data. This policy does not invent a fixed number of days for a host connection log.

This page does not state a number of days for how long a sent email is kept. The form opens your mail application. It does not store the email on a website server. If a server-side mailbox policy is published later, the privacy policy and this page will both need a matching update.

13. Policy Updates

If the website later sets cookies, adds analytics, or adds a real choice tool that changes what loads, this page will be revised before those technologies are used. The date at the top will change.

A banner will be added only if there is a genuine optional technology for the banner to control. Until then, do not expect a consent pop-up.

14. Contact

Questions about this cookie policy can be emailed to [email protected], posted to 47 Dublin Road, Lombardy West, Sandton, Johannesburg, 2090, South Africa, or made by phone on +27 72 989 1131. The contact form can store a note in your browser and can open your mail application. The note is received only if you send it.

Local summaries, mail, and the same contact details

The cookie policy above explains that this website does not set a first-party analytics cookie or an advertising cookie, and that the inquiry summary lives in local storage rather than in a cookie. That description is unchanged. What has changed is the contact path. The form can now open your mail application addressed to [email protected]. Opening that application is not a cookie and it is not a tracker. Sending the email is a step you take in your own mail program.

You can still refuse to use the form. You can still delete the local summary by clearing site data for this website. Deleting site data does not delete a message you have already sent. This policy does not set a retention period for the mailbox. Questions about that, or about this policy, can be emailed to [email protected], posted to 47 Dublin Road, Lombardy West, Sandton, Johannesburg, 2090, South Africa, or made by phone on +27 72 989 1131.

Third-party hosts are unchanged: Google Fonts and the Google font file host, cdnjs for Font Awesome, jsDelivr for Bootstrap Icons and the Bootstrap script, and the jQuery CDN. They may use their own cookies when your browser requests their files. This site does not control those cookies and does not list a banner switch for them. Blocking their scripts may change fonts, icons, or the menu. If the form script does not load, use the email address or the phone number directly.

There is still no consent banner, because there is still no optional analytics or advertising tag for a banner to control. A map link that searches the published street address is an ordinary outbound link, not a cookie set by this website. If analytics, advertising cookies, or a real preference centre are added later, this page will be updated first and the date at the top will change. Until then, the controls that matter are your browser settings and your choice to send or not send an inquiry.

Local storage is tied to the browser profile you used. A summary saved on a work computer is not visible on your phone. A private-browsing window may discard it when the window closes, depending on the browser. The script does not sync the summary to an account, because the site has no account. If more than one person uses the same profile, each person can read the stored summaries. Do not submit an inquiry on a shared computer if you do not want that.

The mail application step is also outside this website. A mailto link asks the browser to hand the subject and body to whatever program is set as the default for email. That program may be a desktop application or a webmail handler. This site does not choose it and does not see whether you pressed send. Blocking pop-ups is a separate browser control and does not, by itself, delete the local summary. If the hand-off fails, the on-page summary is there so you can copy it into a message to [email protected] yourself.

No first-party cookie is required to read a service page, to open the mobile menu when its script loads, or to call +27 72 989 1131. The postal address can be used without the browser storing anything. Local storage is created only after a successful form check. Declining to use the form leaves the browser without a pcs-inquiries record from this site.
